A shadowban is when Reddit hides your account or its posts from everyone else without telling you. You still see your posts on your own profile, everything looks normal from where you sit — but logged-out visitors and other users don't see them at all. No ban message, no removal notice. A checker catches the site-wide shadowban cleanly. The softer CQS filtering — where the profile is visible but individual posts still get buried in some subs — can pass a site-wide check and still leave you with no reach. So a clean result is good news, not a guarantee. If posts are still dead, treat it as a CQS problem and use the fix below.

The antidetect trap, again

A main account has to look like a normal person on a normal phone. Full stop.

Message that subreddit's mods politely through modmail. It affects only that community; the rest of your account is fine. If they don't lift it, move on — one sub is not worth risking your tone over.

B. A site-wide shadowban hides the profile itself. A visible profile with dead posts is the signature of low CQS — appealing does nothing because there's no ban to lift. Rebuild trust with real participation for a week.
